The RNLI Tea Dance at The Royal Hotel in Whitby was the perfect opportunity for Christine – who has always loved to dance – to put her dancing shoes on once again. She started dancing when she was 10 years old with a group of friends once a week in Leeds. She says “I loved the music and learning the movements although I didn’t always get it right!” Christine met her husband Dave while at a dance although “he isn’t a dancer”.
Christine is always on the go and in the past has danced the Waltz and the Quickstep, and Salsa in her younger days; in particular she loved sequence dancing.
Our resident Sid also attended the Tea Dance and very much enjoyed himself.
