The Mayfield was abuzz with excitement as we prepared for the King’s Birthday celebrations. A particular highlight was the creation of the Andy Warhol-style pictures of the King’s head which we hung up in the reception area.
We also had fun making all sorts of decorations and food for the event and this was testimony to the creativity and enthusiasm of our wonderful residents and team.
The atmosphere was amazing on the day as our residents welcomed all their guests. We watched the fly past and parade together then sat down to a delicious meal.
Overall, it was a brilliant day that everyone hugely enjoyed. We love welcoming guests to The Mayfield and are very much looking forward to many more events over the rest of the summer. Hopefully the weather will finally improve!
